Feteasca Neagra is perhaps Romania's oldest native grape variety, used to make red and rosé wines. Names: Swallowtail, Swallowtail, Swallowtail, Black Bird, Black Face Grape (RO/MD), Chornaya Fetyaska (RUS), Fekete Leányka (HUN ), Black Maidengrape, Black Maidengrape (DE), Rubies and an aroma of berries, cherries, plums , black raisins are slightly spicy, reminiscent of cinnamon, pepper, allspice or vanilla [2] and become richer and finer with age. Excellent with baked pork tenderloin in a herb crust, beef steaks, lamb ribs with sour sauce or aged cheeses.
